Paolo Quiroga CFP®, CRPS®, NQPC™
Paolo founded Maven Group in 2019 but his investment experience began at a very young age. After being captured by the power of the market upon completion of a 4th grade stock market project he questioned why more people didn’t focus on investing. On his 18th birthday he opened his first E-trade account and purchased Apple stock with his summer earned savings and has been glued to the markets ever since.
He completed his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Kansas in 2007 and wasted no time before heading west to San Francisco to begin working for one of the country’s largest Registered Investment Advisors, at that time. His first role in the investment industry had him working with high net worth individuals who had a minimum portfolio value of $500K, where average account values were $1.2MM.
After experiencing the weather Southern California offered, during a weekend visit, he decided more sun and less fog was a better fit. Upon the move down south he started consulting with small business owners which led him to the reality that very few owners and employees really understood their retirement plan. More important than that, he learned how few financial advisors truly specialized in this space.
Once he started with Edward Jones in 2015 he committed to serving this community and providing the service and education that business owners not only deserved but desperately needed. After four years of growing his client base of primarily CEO’s, entrepreneurs, and high income earners he knew that he needed better technology, resources, and options to continue to offer his tailored approach of wealth management to clients.
In 2019 he opened the doors at Maven Group Investment Strategies supported by the largest independent broker-dealer in the country, LPL Financial.*
When Paolo isn’t working directly with his clients or managing portfolio adjustments he enjoys spending time with his growing family. Him and his wife, Dania, have 2 kids, Olivia and Jordi, with a 3rd on the way this October. As a family, they frequently take trips to their cabin in Lake Arrowhead and relax in the mountains or indulge in small camping trips within a few hours of the SoCal area.
